A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It should be known that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that skillful players are agile enough to choose the most beneficial game every instance.

After the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to continue on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that might have been won. Further, some versions of the game give the player a chance to increase their winnings, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also differences among specific games, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
